CSAPI JOURNAL

In its aim to provide Filipino researchers a venue for academic publications to be shared to fellow professional educators, the Curriculum Studies Association of the Philippines, Inc. has launched the Philippine Journal of Curriculum Studies (PJCS), which is an online, open-access, and peer-reviewed journal that publishes conceptually rich and original contributions to all areas of curriculum studies, including curriculum theory, curriculum history, curriculum foundations, curriculum planning, curriculum unpacking, curriculum implementation, curriculum evaluation, instructional designing, and instructional evaluation.

As a journal primed to be a source of Philippine curriculum research, PJCS welcomes papers written in English or Filipino which are relevant to the local community that form its authorship and leadership.

All research articles submitted to PJCS undergo rigorous peer review process, based on initial editorial evaluation and external review by at least two anonymous experts.

Seminars and Lecture Series with Resource Persons

The UP College of Education Curriculum Studies Area has conducted several Lecture Series in 2019. The first one was on "Evaluation and Curriculum Transformation" presented by Dr. Andrew F. Wall, then Dean of the School of Education at University of Redlands California (USA) on July 19, 2019.

Webinars

CSAPI was not to be deterred even when the nation faced a Covid-19 pandemic crisis in 2020. Our very own CSAPI Executive Director, Dr. Amelia Fajardo, took on the challenge of conducting a series of webinars sponsored by Salesiana Books of Don Bosco Press.

Educational tours are organized outside of the Philippines to broaden CSAPI members’ perspectives on education and introduce them to connections and authentic conversations with other educators interested in curriculum studies and instructional designing.

CSAPI Strategic Planning

At the end of each year, the CSAPI Execom members gather and review the past year's events to see how improvements can be made on previously held activities and discuss how the organization's vision and mission can be further achieved for the coming year.
