CSAPI will be holding its annual National Conference on Curriculum Studies (NCCS) in partnership with Don Bosco Technical College Cebu. The theme is Foundations of Curriculum Studies in a Changing Social Landscape. It will be held on November 25-26, 2023, 8:30 AM-6:00 PM in hybrid mode with online attendance and an onsite venue at Don Bosco Retreat House Lawaan, Talisay City, Cebu.
The conference will highlight the impact/influences of the disciplinal foundations to the major processes in Curriculum Studies, i.e., curriculum planning, implementation, evaluation, instructional design.
Our keynote speakers are Fr. Fidel Ma. D. Orendain, SDB from Don Bosco Philippines South Province and Prof. Dr. Amelia C. Fajardo from the University of the Philippines. Attached are the NCCS 2023 posters and program for your perusal of the conference details.
Aside from keynote speeches, there will be plenary sessions in basic education, higher education, and TVET, as well as special plenary discussions on the impact of globalization to Curriculum Studies, and current trends in Curriculum Studies and curriculum designing. There will also be paper presentations focused on the following strands:
- Disciplinal Foundations and Curriculum Studies in Basic Education.
- Disciplinal Foundations and Curriculum Studies in Higher Education.
- Disciplinal Foundations and Curriculum Studies in Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
- Disciplinal Foundations and Curriculum Studies in Online Learning.
